The first problem was how to get 9 children through the shower in 5 minutes (have you seen the Sensory Trail photos?!). 45 minutes later...
With team work at its core, the group made excellent decisions through discussion and negotiation. Well done!

Thursday Morning, Group 1, Quad Biking
Looking at this group, you parents need to start saving for driving lessons now! Ewan said it was awesome and Caitlin said it was a good experience. Holly was amazed she didn't crash!
Tuesday, session 2.
Group 1 are zip wiring, group 2 are trapezing, and group 3 are discovering the delights of the sensory trail. You were told to pack plenty of old clothes!
Wakey wakey!
Lots of sleepie-heads this morning. It seems a lot of children are very tired this morning after yesterday's activity-packed day!
Once up, and after room inspections, we enjoyed a cooked breakfast, cereal and toast. We are really looking forward to todays activities!!

A surprise activity...
Since the announcement of the Little Canada activities there have been rumblings of discontent among the children. This has been due to the unavailability of the famous 'Giant Swing'.
However our fantastic, groupie Tash, kindly arranged for us to have a go on the swing.
The children put their harnesses and helmets on, as an air of nervous excitement filled the atmosphere.
The activity was done at a swift pace to ensure we we able to fit it in before dinner.
The children worked tirelessly hoisting each other up the enormous swing. Then, one brave soul had the daunting task of pulling the red cord to release their ride.
Many children overcame their fears and succeeded with their personals goals.
Well done to everyone!

Ladder logic and forfeits galore!
Mr Santy's group spent their morning on ladder logic. This involved manoeuvring around a course carrying a ladder. However there was a big BUT... The children and adults were not allowed to touch the ground or utter the word 'ladder'. Instead it was to be called 'the thing'.
Several forfeits (mostly by Kieran!) and a lot of great team work later, the group finished the course! Although many needed a good wash before lunch!

Abseiling and fencing
2 groups had a go at abseiling this morning, although a couple of our children appeared to have been chained to the fence instead! Don't worry, these cheeky monkeys probably deserved it, and joined in the fun with good humour. Daniel did really well to overcome his fears and enjoyed his second trip down the wall.
Later, group 3 tried some fencing. There was fierce competition in the final battle between Leah and George, with George being the winner.
